The most famous hippo in the world live in the river near Hoedspruit. She was raised by Tonie and Shirley Joubert as if she was their child. She was abandond by her mother after a great flood. Tonie Joubert knew what to do to save her.

Now she can live wild but she chooses to come back to her parents each night. Jessica weighs a 1,2 tons and has goten lots of media attention , she played in more than 90 movies and documentaries.
